Immediate Office of the Secretary

The Immediate Office of the Secretary (IOS) is responsible for the operations and coordination of Secretary Azar’s work. The individuals who collaborate most closely with Azar work here. IOS encompasses the Office of the Deputy Secretary (DS), the Office of the Chief of Staff (COS), the Secretary’s counselors, the Executive Secretariat (ES), the Office of Health Reform, the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the Office of Security and Strategic Information (OSSI).
