In celebration of Pride Month, Equity Forward is highlighting how the Biden administration has shown up to protect LGBTQIA+ rights in the best way we know how: an interactive policy timeline!

Building on our timeline of the Biden administration’s policy changes in its first 100 days, Equity Forward has identified over 20 actions that the executive branch has taken since inauguration day to advance LGBTQIA+ equality and reverse the homophobic and transphobic policies of the Trump administration. While we have been encouraged by the progress achieved so far, we will continue to monitor the current administration to ensure that its policies are bold and long lasting.

Note: Equity Forward has adopted the acronym LGBTQIA+ to recognize expansive and diverse identities, but the timeline defers to the language used by agencies and departments in their policy announcements.
