Birth Control Access

A critical tenet of Americans’ access to birth control is the ACA, which since 2012 requires health insurance plans to provide full coverage of all birth control methods as part of preventative care coverage. The Trump administration put forth two rules allowing employers to claim religious and/or moral exemptions from the ACA’s birth control mandate. The Biden-Harris administration must work to further protect and enhance affordable, accessible birth control in compliance with the ACA for all those who want/need it.
